DeCentrum mall seems to have a lot of Arab tenants at the retail units. Today bumped into this shop called Empire Restaurant. This place serves Arabic food and also desserts.
I liked the place that it was quite brightly litted, unlike the usual Arabic restaurants that are usually quite dimly litted with bright striking colors (eg orange, yellow, red). The owners reminds me of Steven Seagal with their pony tail, big size frame and white complexion.

They serve Shawarma outside the shop. The Shawarma comes in size small and big.

This place also has got a few Arab desserts, I couldn't catch the name as it was mentioned by the shopowner. I ordered a few of the desserts for testing. I think it is a cross between a dessert and pastry.
I was a bit worried it would be a tad too sweet like Indian desserts but I was pleasantly surprised the sweetness was quite mild. Interestingly, the prices of the desserts are measure by weight.
